In podcast 3 – yes there is something else going on with Joseph Smith – he cannot be dismissed offhand, because he was supernaturally influenced and driven in his ambitions, making him very charismatic and remarkably captivating. There is a type of spirit behind what he did, and although I think he may have initially been aligned with God, the doctrine became corrupted by his hand.
